1949
Founded in 1949, Calderas Powermaster begins operations as the exclusive representative of the Powermaster boiler line from the American boiler manufacturer “Orr & Sembower”.
1954
Starting in 1954, the manufacture of the Powermaster boiler in Mexico begins under license from "Orr & Sembower".
1975
In 1975, the Calderas Powermaster Group acquires the rights to the "Powermaster" brand and technology for the Mexican Republic exclusively.
1984
In 1984, the Calderas Powermaster Group is restructured, and European technology is implemented to the original design. This results in a new boiler that is safer, more efficient, reliable, and with lower maintenance requirements.
1988
In 1988, the boiler furnaces are redesigned to comply with the ISO/DIN 5730 standard of the International Organization for Standardization. This extends boiler life by considerably reducing heat fatigue coefficients in the furnace and cleaner combustion thanks to improved flame release coefficients.
1989
In 1989, the all boilers 80HP and larger are switched to a fully wet-back design, reducing refractory and increasing the heat utilization of the boiler.
1993
In 1993, the construction of our new plant in San Juan del Río, Qro. is completed. A modern plant with a manufacturing area of 4,300 square meters on a total surface of 6,500 square meters for future growth. Overhead cranes, stress relief furnace, and high-capacity manufacturing machinery allow us to increase our production and market presence.
1994
In 1994, our plant obtains authorization from the National Board to stamp the S, H, and U seals of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for boilers and pressure vessels.
2000
In 2000, the 950 square meter plant expansion is completed, totaling 5,250 square meters to meet the company's growth.
2011
In 2011, the Calderas Powermaster Group acquires the "Powermaster" brand in the United States of North America and begins marketing boilers in the U.S.A.
2014
In 2014, Calderera del Centro S.A. de C.V. obtains ISO 9001 certification for its quality management system.
2018
A new warehouse is completed, aiming to meet the growing demand of export markets.
2020
2020: Solar panels are installed to supply the factory's electricity consumption.
2021: The solar panels are expanded.
